ACCESS is a European project aiming to facilitate access to prevention, protection and support for migrant women in Europe who are confronted with gender-based violence.
Gender is a social and cultural construct that establishes "appropriate" roles and behaviours for each sex, while sex is defined by biological differences.
Gender-based violence is physical or psychological violence against people on the basis of their gender. It affects women the most.
Migrant women face many forms of gender-based violence: sexual violence, female genital mutilation (FGM), violence between partners, forced marriage, sexual exploitation… ACCESS supports these women!
Do you recognise yourself in situations of gender-based violence? Are you looking for a way out? Specialised organisations will support your fight for your well-being.
Browse the ACCESS mapping and find adequate support. It's simple: click on the "Map" button. Then, select the icons that represent your situation.
